CompilationParser

Trait CompilationParser

Source
pub trait CompilationParser: Send {
    // Required method
    fn feed(&mut self, line: &str) -> Vec<ErrorEntry>;
}
Expand description

A named matcher over streamed compiler-output lines producing [ErrorEntry]s.

feed is called once per line in arrival order and returns the entries that line completed (zero for a header line that only primes a pending diagnostic, or for a line matching nothing). reset drops any pending multi-line state at the start of a run.

Implementors never panic on the parse path: a malformed-but-claimed match is logged at debug! and skipped (paramount goal #1’s “log + skip, never panic on the process/parse path”).

Required Methods§

Source

fn feed(&mut self, line: &str) -> Vec<ErrorEntry>

Feed one line; return entries completed by it.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
