Called from the App’s mode-registry boot path. Idempotent
only by duplication (registry’s existing invariant).
Also registers TreeSitterCompletionMode (CSM.6) – the
syntax-feature minor that contributes
gen:tree-sitter-symbol candidates to the completion popup.
