:set name – query (non-bool) / boolean-on (bool).

Query(String)

:set name? – always print current value.

Assign

:set name=value – set typed value.

value: String

Text right of the first =, trimmed; may itself contain = and may be empty.

Negate(String)

:set noname – clear boolean.

Reset(String)

:set name& / :setlocal name& – reset to registered default / clear local override. Empty name means “clear all” (:setlocal &).
