ZoomIndicator

Enum ZoomIndicator

Source
pub enum ZoomIndicator {
    Both,
    Modeline,
    Tabline,
    None,
}
Expand description

:set pane.zoom-indicator=... — where the zoom marker shows while a pane is zoomed (<C-w>z). Introduced in ZP.4.

One option rather than a boolean per surface: zoom-indication is one user concept, and splitting it across the modeline and tabline config groups would read as two independent knobs when it is one decision.

The two surfaces are not redundant. The modeline marker sits on the zoomed pane itself, where the state applies; the tabline marker is the only one that can tell you a background tab is zoomed before you switch to it, since zoom is per-tab state.

Variants§

§

Both

Marker on both the zoomed pane’s modeline and its tab.

§

Modeline

Modeline only.

§

Tabline

Tabline only.

§

None

No marker anywhere.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ZoomIndicator

Source

pub fn label(self) -> &'static str

Canonical string label.

Source

pub fn doc(self) -> &'static str

Short marginalia doc shown in cmdline-completion’s right-aligned column.

Source

pub fn all() -> &'static [Self]

Variants in declaration order.

Source

pub fn parse_label(s: &str) -> Result<Self, String>

Parse from canonical label or any registered alias.

Source§

impl ZoomIndicator

Source

pub fn shows_modeline(self) -> bool

Whether the zoomed pane’s modeline carries the marker.

Source

pub fn shows_tabline(self) -> bool

Whether the zoomed tab’s tabline entry carries the marker.
