TablineShow

Enum TablineShow

Source
pub enum TablineShow {
    Never,
    Auto,
    Always,
}
Expand description

:set tabline.show=... (issue #29, 2026-05-22). Controls when the tabline row is visible at the top of the screen.

Mirrors vim’s :set showtabline (0 / 1 / 2) but uses readable labels.

Variants§

§

Never

Never paint the tabline (no row reserved).

§

Auto

Auto: show only when more than one tab is open.

§

Always

Always paint the tabline, even for a single tab.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TablineShow

Source

pub fn label(self) -> &'static str

Canonical string label.

Source

pub fn doc(self) -> &'static str

Short marginalia doc shown in cmdline-completion’s right-aligned column.

Source

pub fn all() -> &'static [Self]

Variants in declaration order.

Source

pub fn parse_label(s: &str) -> Result<Self, String>

Parse from canonical label or any registered alias.
