pub struct SnapshotIndentResolver { /* private fields */ }Expand description
IN.7: answers “how deep should line N sit” for the = operator,
over a syntax snapshot captured at dispatch time.
Holds an Arc<SyntaxSnapshot> rather than borrowing, because the
handle crosses the actor channel. The Arc bump is O(1) and the
snapshot is immutable, so this costs nothing per dispatch.
Unlike predictive indent, = is user-initiated on complete
code — which is precisely the case the tree-sitter engine was
built for and the one where it beats the lexical bridge outright.
Every other surface runs mid-typing, where incomplete code means the
bridge does most of the work.
