pub struct DocumentLastParsedTextVersion(pub u64);Expand description
Document version (the rope’s monotonic edit counter) of the
most recent successful parse. The renderer’s syntax walk
short-circuits when text_version == last_parsed_text_version;
the reparse seam treats inequality as “edits to drain into the
worker” and fires an incremental reparse.

Source§const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.last-parsed-text-version"
const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.last-parsed-text-version"
Public display name (
:describe-buffer row label,
debug logs). Convention: <owner-mode-name>.<key>,
e.g. "file-tree.entries". Not a registry key — locals
aren’t registered globally; the name is metadata for
inspection.Source§const DOC: &'static str = "Document version (rope monotonic) of the most recent \
successful parse. Cheap idempotency check on the highlight \
hot path: equal version means the cached spans are still \
current; unequal triggers a reparse."
const DOC: &'static str = "Document version (rope monotonic) of the most recent \ successful parse. Cheap idempotency check on the highlight \ hot path: equal version means the cached spans are still \ current; unequal triggers a reparse."
Doc string. Shown in
:describe-buffer when the user
expands a local for detail.Source§const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
Mode id that owns this local. Attribution metadata for
:describe-buffer; the write-time check the design calls for
(a ModeContext::set_local::<T> that rejects a non-owner) is not
implemented, so nothing enforces it today (see the module docs).Source§impl Clone for DocumentLastParsedTextVersion
