pub struct DocumentSyntax(pub Option<SyntaxHandle>);Expand description
Per-document tree-sitter syntax handle. Some once a language
has been detected for the buffer and a parse has been
requested; None for Lang::Plain documents and for buffers
that haven’t been activated yet.

Source§impl BufferLocal for DocumentSyntax
impl BufferLocal for DocumentSyntax
Source§const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.syntax"
const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.syntax"
Public display name (
:describe-buffer row label,
debug logs). Convention: <owner-mode-name>.<key>,
e.g. "file-tree.entries". Not a registry key — locals
aren’t registered globally; the name is metadata for
inspection.Source§const DOC: &'static str = "Per-document tree-sitter syntax handle. Drives the highlight \
walk + the fold computation. Owned by the document's active \
language major (text-mode for `Lang::Plain`, the matching \
language mode otherwise); the handle's runtime data lives in \
a worker actor referenced by this slot."

Doc string. Shown in
:describe-buffer when the user
expands a local for detail.Source§const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
Mode id that owns this local. Attribution metadata for
:describe-buffer; the write-time check the design calls for
(a ModeContext::set_local::<T> that rejects a non-owner) is not
implemented, so nothing enforces it today (see the module docs).Source§impl Clone for DocumentSyntax
