Struct Entry

Source
pub struct Entry {
    pub chord: KeyChord,
    pub label: String,
    pub kind: EntryKind,
    pub layer: Option<KeymapLayer>,
}
Expand description

One row of the popup.

Fields§

§chord: KeyChord

The key to press next. Rendered through Display for KeyChord, except the wildcard row, which renders {char}.

§label: String

Never blank — the label chain is total by construction (§4.1).

§kind: EntryKind

Whether the key fires a binding or opens a deeper prefix.

§layer: Option<KeymapLayer>

Which layer the binding came from. Carried for provenance in tests and future per-layer styling; not rendered in v1.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Entry

Source

pub fn key_text(&self, wildcard: bool) -> String

The key as the grid renders it. The wildcard row has no real chord, so it renders {char} — the spelling :keymap and :describe-key already use for f{char} / '{mark}.
