A position in the SOURCE FILE, resolved from a cursor sitting on a diff row. 0-based row plus a 0-based BYTE offset within it, matching lattice_protocol::position::Position’s own { line, byte } shape.

A plain value type rather than Position itself so this module keeps the “pure functions over diff text, no buffer / store / Editor” contract its header claims.
