MultibufferStatusProvider

Struct MultibufferStatusProvider

Source
pub struct MultibufferStatusProvider { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Sticky headerline provider that surfaces the view’s HeaderlineStatus as a pinned row above line 0.

Implements [Headerline] directly — the status lives in MultibufferInner (behind an ArcSwap); no extra dedicated state allocation is needed.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MultibufferStatusProvider

Source

pub fn new(multibuffer: MultibufferDocumentHandle) -> Self

Construct without theme wiring — the status row renders with the pre-MH.A4 fallback hex. Test convenience; production uses Self::with_theme.

Source

pub fn with_theme( multibuffer: MultibufferDocumentHandle, theme: ThemeRegistryHandle, elements: MultibufferHeaderElementIds, ) -> Self

MH.A4: construct with the resolved theme handle + the interned status element ids so render() resolves the multibuffer.status.* foregrounds (mirrors the excerpt-header provider’s with_theme).

Source

pub fn into_provider(self, buffer_id: BufferId) -> HeaderlineProvider

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Source§

impl Headerline for MultibufferStatusProvider

Source§

fn version(&self) -> u64

Monotonic counter. Bump whenever the row content changes. The worker skips render() when the version is unchanged since the last call.
Source§

fn render(&self) -> Option<HeaderlineRow>

Build the current row. Return None to hide the header entirely. Must not block — cache results; background tasks push updates via the owning handle.
