pub struct OilDir(pub PathBuf);Expand description
BufferLocal carrying the filesystem path the oil
buffer’s listing represents (M.3.2.c.3 mirror of
OilBuffer::dir). Renderers / writers read through this
rather than poking OilBuffer::dir directly so the canonical
“what directory does this oil buffer represent” lookup is
uniform with the rest of the mode-owned per-buffer state.

Source§impl BufferLocal for OilDir
impl BufferLocal for OilDir
Source§const NAME: &'static str = "oil-mode.dir"
const NAME: &'static str = "oil-mode.dir"
Public display name (
:describe-buffer row label,
debug logs). Convention: <owner-mode-name>.<key>,
e.g. "file-tree.entries". Not a registry key — locals
aren’t registered globally; the name is metadata for
inspection.Source§const DOC: &'static str = "Directory the oil buffer's editable listing represents. \
Diff-on-:write applies filesystem ops relative to this \
path; status line shows it."
const DOC: &'static str = "Directory the oil buffer's editable listing represents. \ Diff-on-:write applies filesystem ops relative to this \ path; status line shows it."
Doc string. Shown in
:describe-buffer when the user
expands a local for detail.Source§const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "oil-mode"
const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "oil-mode"
Mode id that owns this local. Attribution metadata for
:describe-buffer; the write-time check the design calls for
(a ModeContext::set_local::<T> that rejects a non-owner) is not
implemented, so nothing enforces it today (see the module docs).Auto Trait Implementations§
