SubmoduleState

Enum SubmoduleState

Source
pub enum SubmoduleState {
    Uninitialised,
    InSync,
    Modified,
    Conflicted,
}
Expand description

What git submodule status reports about one submodule.

The leading character of each status line, which is the part that decides what the user can usefully do next.

Variants§

§

Uninitialised

- — not initialised. Its working tree is empty; update is what fills it.

§

InSync

— checked out at the commit the superproject records.

§

Modified

+ — checked out at a different commit than the superproject records. Either you moved it deliberately or an update is pending.

§

Conflicted

U — has merge conflicts.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SubmoduleState

Source

pub fn marker(self) -> char

The one-character marker git submodule status uses, which is also what the buffer renders — so the row reads the same as git’s own output.
