pub struct ExtraInlays(pub Vec<InlayHintRow>);Expand description
DL.3b: generic per-buffer inline virtual text, merged beside the LSP inlay hints when the pane’s cells inputs are built.
The inlay peer of ExtraHighlights, and generic for the same
reason: it is the home for virtual text the grammar and the LSP
cannot produce — a listing’s leading icons today, a plugin’s
trailing annotations tomorrow. Written by the Editor’s drain of
lattice_mode::PendingInlays, never by a renderer.
Empty is the universal default and renders byte-identically.

impl BufferLocal for ExtraInlays
Source§const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.extra-inlays"
const NAME: &'static str = "text-mode.extra-inlays"
Public display name (
:describe-buffer row label,
debug logs). Convention: <owner-mode-name>.<key>,
e.g. "file-tree.entries". Not a registry key — locals
aren’t registered globally; the name is metadata for
inspection.Source§const DOC: &'static str = "Generic per-buffer inline virtual text (leading icons, trailing \
annotations) merged with the LSP inlay hints in the display matrix. \
Published by modes through the `PendingInlays` service. Empty is the \
universal default and renders byte-identically."
const DOC: &'static str = "Generic per-buffer inline virtual text (leading icons, trailing \ annotations) merged with the LSP inlay hints in the display matrix. \ Published by modes through the `PendingInlays` service. Empty is the \ universal default and renders byte-identically."
Doc string. Shown in
:describe-buffer when the user
expands a local for detail.Source§const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
const OWNER_MODE: &'static str = "text-mode"
Mode id that owns this local. Attribution metadata for
:describe-buffer; the write-time check the design calls for
(a ModeContext::set_local::<T> that rejects a non-owner) is not
implemented, so nothing enforces it today (see the module docs).Source§impl Clone for ExtraInlays
